The Toronto Maple Leafs is a specialized ice hockey team foundation in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada. They participate in the National Hockey League at the Air
Canada Centre. The association is formally known as the Toronto Maple Leaf
Hockey Club, The National Hockey League was formed in Montreal in 1917.
In February 1927, Smythe purchased the St. Pats and right away renamed them the
Maple Leafs. The Leafs and Habs would meet one time once more in the finals in
1951, Toronto was brilliant to stagger off a different three directly Stanley
Cup success from 1962 to 1964 and under the leadership of coach and general
manager Punch Imlach.
