The Nashville Predators are a specialized ice hockey team based in Nashville,
Tennessee. They take part in the National Hockey League. Their nickname is the
"Preds." The Predators earliest took the ice on 1998, where they lost 0-1 at
home to the Florida Panthers. Three nights later, they have beaten the Carolina
Hurricanes 3-2 for their first win. Forward Andrew Brunette gets the first goal
on a play that was analysis by the video goal judge.
The Predators start on the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs as the 4th seed and faced
the 5th-seeded San Jose Sharks in the Western meeting Quarterfinals. Game 1 of
the series went to the Predators, who achieved four power-play goals downing the
Sharks 4-3.
